Chances are if you’ve been to Walla Walla you’ve visited Dunham Cellars. For over 20 years Dunham has been producing award winning and highly acclaimed Washington wines. Dunham Cellars was founded in 1995 by Mike and Joanne Dunham, Mike’s son Eric and partners David and Cheryll Blair. Their first vintage of Cabernet was declared by Wine Enthusiast as one of the best wines in the state.
Over the years the winery has experienced some heartache with Mike passing away from a long battle with cancer in 2013 and one year later, his son, founding winemaker Eric Dunham committed suicide. Current wine maker Tyler Tennyson and the remaining founders have a commitment to continue the Dunham legacy.
Many of you are familiar with the fun Three Legged Red blend, sold at many grocery stores. This blend is an overachiever but is only a starting point for the delicious Dunham line up. In addition to the Three Legged Red we will have their dry Riesling, Shirley Mae Chardonnay, Rose of Cab Franc, Trutina and the recently awarded “Best in Show” Syrah (from the 2016 Walla Walla Valley Wine Competition).

Using grapes from some of the finest vineyards in the Walla Walla, Yakima and Columbia Valleys, Dunham Cellars has established an award-winning reputation for their wines. When Dunham’s first vintage, a 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon was released, it was deemed one of the finest wines made in Washington by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. The winery makes its home in a rustic, remodeled World War II era airplane hangar in Walla Walla, and celebrated its 20th “Platinum” Anniversary in 2015.
