Every year on Mother’s Day weekend the Spokane wineries, known as The Cork District, host Spring Release Weekend. Whether you are a wine lover or just like to explore something new, this is a fun weekend to get out and about enjoying the newest releases from Spokane wineries and tasting room. While Nectar is not a part of the official Cork District are featuring a wine tasting with award winning Mercer Estates Winery.

Mercer Estates is one of Washington’s oldest wineries. Their estate vineyards in the Horse Heaven Hills (near Prosser, WA) produce award winning and highly reviewed wines.  In 2016 Mercer was named “Washington Winery of the Year.”

Taste something new this weekend with 6 delicious wines. Tasting fees apply. Nectar Catering and Events will be open Noon to 6pm Saturday and Sunday.

Blind Wine Challenge (Saturday 5pm)

You and your friends will enjoy 4 Mercer Estate wines blindly paired with a counterpart from elsewhere around the world. You won’t know the grape variety or the region until the big reveal. Can you spot the Mercer wine? Which do you prefer?

Event will include light appetizers and is limited to just 20 guests.
